Day of Activities

Where         VA  Augusta Blind Rehabilitation Center (ABRC)

                    (3d floor Auditorium)

 

Transportation will be available for those who stayed overnight at the Days Inn Suites Augusta.  The bus/van will be departing the hotel at 09:15 A.M. for ABRC and will bring you back to the hotel at 04:00 P.M.  The driver will tell you were to meet at that time for a return ride.

The money also helps to curtail the costs of our meals and pays for our initial costs for fund raisers.  We are growing and we need to provide more support for our members at large.

Check Out or Dine with “Friends for Fun at Lunch”

Check out is at Noon.  Or some of you might want to couple up with some friends to the local Barbeque Restaurant – Famous Dave’s, Across from Publix, 2821 Washington Road.   At Famous Dave’s, there is a variety of meats with a side of barbeque sauce:

·       Fresh Georgia Chopped Pork

·       Roasted or Barbeque Chicken

·       Texas Style Beef Brisket

·       Best Ribs in America

Served with Creamy coleslaw or potato salad, with a large bun and World Famous Wilbur Beans.  Tea, coffee, soda or water.  Yummmm…..
