Grant Committee – At this time, no interest and is tabled until further researched by
other members of the board.
Membership Chairperson – Don Srail was appointed membership chairperson. All equipment have already been
purchased. The earmark of funds will not
be necessary for reimbursement (per membership chairperson). ID cards are to be reissued as a picture
ID. A notice in the newsletter and
website addressing to old members to send in a picture or email a picture to Don
Srail for reissuance of ID card. The
first pack of ID cards is a complimentary gift from the membership
chairperson. The next pack will cost
approximately a little over $7.00 at cost.
A motion was made to reimburse
the membership chairperson on ID cards pack of 100 – price of over $7.00 each
hundred pack was accepted and seconded/approved
Auto Donation Program – Going to
website – www.donateacar.com
The process is easy –
1.
Register your
organization (Agreement between ABRCAA and Car Program Inc. 70% - minor admin
fees (ABRCAA) 30%(Car Program)(fill out short form)
2.
Whoever donates
car/truck, fill out forms and pick charity to get proceeds which are registered
with the Car Program, Inc.
This information and forms
will be posted on website. Cheryl Gajadhar volunteered to become the Chairperson
for this program. A motion was made to
be accept the Car program and appoint Chery Gajadhar as Chairperson. This was also seconded/approved.
Ambassador Program – A motion was made to find membership interest in the program by
posting the Ambassador program on the website and also in the newsletter. In the newsletter and on the website, also
look for a volunteer to be a Chairperson.
All interested persons contact the President, John Sherrer.
Pamphlets –
Alumni pamphlets are outdated and are not functional. Pamphlets are to be sent to the President for
approval of a new design.
Election Committee – Glenn Shirey is Chairperson and Henry McCoy and Roque
Reyna will work with the chairperson.
Several volunteers who are at the Annual Reunion will be counters for
votes. To be posted on website and also
in newsletter. A motion was made
accepted/seconded and approved.
Constitution Committee – A committee will be made at the time of the Annual
Reunion for reconstruction of the Constitution/Bylaws. To be posted on website and in
newsletter. A motion was made
accepted/seconded and approved.
