Chess

The United States Braille Chess Association offers chess for those who are blind and visually impaired.  Even though they started with Braille via mail, they now offer games by tape and email.  I play chess often by email.

The Hadley School for the Blind offer a chess class if you do not know how to play chess or you want to improve you game.  The classes are free and they will give you an adaptive chessboard.

Contact me if you want to start playing chess with other people WITH SIMILAR eye problems AS YOU HAVE.  Contact your VIST coordinator if you want to get involved with Hadley School for the Blind.
